Compare Decimals Greater Than Less Than - Comparing things is one of the many hobbies we are fond of, may it be comparing different shoe sizes that fit you perfectly, or just comparing who’s got the bigger sandwich with your best friend at school. Moreover, when we deal with numbers, the process is truly just the same! If we compare two quantities with one another, we evaluate them as to which one’s bigger than the other one, and it is that easy-peasy! In today’s game, we explore the world of comparing decimals (greater than, less than). Keep in mind these basic steps: When comparing decimals, start with the tenths place, then the hundredths place, so on and so forth. If a decimal has a greater number in the tenths place, then it is considered larger than a decimal that has fewer tenths. Compare the hundredths if the tenths are equal, then the thousandths, and so on until one decimal is greater or there are no more places to compare. Also, the decimals can be said as identical if each decimal place value is the same. Understood? Very good, explorer! You may now commence with the game. Best of luck!
