4th Grade Game On Division With No Remainders

4th Grade Game On Division With Remainders - No matter how we hate Math, it will always be a part of our life, we just don’t notice it! From the moment we are being divided to different sections in our school, to just even sharing your lunch with your favorite buddy. In that manner, the concept of division enters. It helps us conceptualize how a number of items can be shared equally between groups of people or things. In today’s game, we talk about dividing numbers without a remainder. But before we hop on to our game, we shall know these simple terms: The number which we divide is called the dividend. The number by which we divide is called the divisor. The result obtained is called the quotient. The number left over is called the remainder. When dividing into columns, we go through the steps of dividing, multiplying, subtracting, and bringing down. Firstly, we divide, start it off with the highest place value of the dividend and divide it with the divisor. Put your answer above the number in the dividend with the highest place value. Secondly, we multiply the answer to the divisor itself, the product should be put below the number in the dividend with the highest place value. Thirdly, we subtract the number in the dividend with the highest place value with the product. The difference should be written below the product. Lastly, bring down the next highest place value together with the difference. And divide it by the divisor. Until there will be none left to bring down. The final answer above shall be your quotient.
