Teach children counting through pictures


There is a lot of potential in using pictures to teach children how to count. For example, fruit printouts will help them in terms of counting the quantity of it. You could also use stick figures or shapes to get the attention of the children which will help them focus on trying to learn the numbers.
In learning, it is important to not let them be bored with the lesson, improvisation is needed as much as possible. There are many ways as to how you can use pictures to teach them how to count, you can have them in groups and give them worksheets they can work together to count. You can also have cutouts of fruit and ask them to bring you 5 bananas, 1 apple, or 10 grapes, and so on.
Of course, if there is a pandemic and some classes are needed to be held online, you can always create your own numbered picture book. You can use any editing site or app you want and just simply paste pictures based on the page number, design it, and present it to your class.
As for activities they can try at home after the class, you can provide them with some printouts of objects, shapes, and fruits that they can count and answer.
